John Stackpole has been a publishing systems analyst for more than 25 years. He has implemented area-pagination systems on mainframe platforms that have saved thousands of dollars for clients such as The Seattle Times and The Virginian-Pilot. He has customized full-pagination systems in Virginia, Japan and at The New York Times. Besides his experience with proprietary systems such as Atex and SII, John is skilled in standard platforms, including IBM-compatibles and Macintosh. His software experience includes composition, networking, databases and scripting for DOS and Macintosh.
